Me and Photoreading

If your looking for a way to expand your mind and really learn at an astronomical rate then I totally recommend Paul Sheele's Photoreading course.

In ANY field on the planet there is always more information you could be learning. Especially in the field of internet marketing things change every day and its hard to keep up.

I started photo reading last year. I wasn't good at it until about 4 months in. Of course I slacked off and didn't do much but now:

I can go through and have 75% + comprehension on a 300 page PDF document in about 45 mins. Pretty impressive...I think so anyway considering that when someone spends 4 hours reading the same 300 page document they only retain 30% or so according to the average.

Photo reading has basically 5 steps and if you have the desire to do so you can learn it from this BLOG entry: Also feel free to email for advice and techniques that have worked for me.

1. Prepare
Before you even open a book you have to prepare your mind by entering the ideal state. Anyone who has practiced meditation will be able to enter this state easier than someone who hasn't but its really not that hard.

Slow your breathing to 1 : 4 : 2 RATIO: So inhale for 4 seconds : hold for 16 seconds : exhale for 8 seconds. This is very good for you as it provides much needed oxygen to your brain.

After you have the breathing down imagine you have a tennis ball hovering just behind your head on a 45 degree angle. This is a method used to induce the proper state. The imaginary ball should be hovering 10 inches above your head exactly where Jewish people wear those little hats on the back of their heads.

2. Preview
State your purpose, what is it you WANT from this book. If its a book on Russian history ask something specific like: Who was Stalin and what were some of the main events of his life?

Pretty straight forward. Simply flip through the book reading the odd paragraphs and observing the headings and subheadings. This whole process should take aboout 5 mins for a 300 page book. YOU ARE NOT READING FOR COMPREHENSION. You are reading and skimming too get the LAYOUT of the book nothing more.

3. Photoread
Enter the ideal state once more.
-Engage photo focus state: imagine a large X covering the area of the 2 pages open infront of you.
-Hold the book about a foot away from you on a 45 degree angle or set it on the desk and hover over it...not to close.
-Remember 1ft or 30 CM for you non Americans out there.
-The words may seem like a bit of a blur, THATS FINE. YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO READ ANYTHING ON THE PAGE. If you can its because your focusing to hard and you need to open up your vision and just take in the image of the whole 2 pages in front of you.
-As your in this perfect learning state, start flipping pages while repeating in your mind rythmically - 1 - 2 - 3- keep the state 4 - 5 - 6. Some people use something different later on but USE this first until you get good.
-You should be turning 1 page a second. SO to get through a 300 page book is about 2 1/2 minutes. Look at the 2 pages open in front of you for seconds and flip.
-After you are done that close your eyes sit quietly and say to your self out loud if possible: "Thank you for the information and knowledge that has been 100% absorbed into my mind. Even though my conscious mind may not comprehend much right now my other than conscious
mind is already taking this information and sorting it so I can recall it whenever I need to."

4. Activate (20 mins)
This process REALLY shows you the power of photo reading. Ideally they say you want to wait 24 hours before activating. I personally wait an hour...go do something that totally takes your mind off of the subject. Go play xbox or something....make sure its a stress free activity.
-After you come back get out a piece of paper are start mind mapping the purpose you wanted to find in the book.
-Again, the clearer your purpose the more EFFECTIVE this process is.
-Mind mapping is incredibly effective. There are lots of free places to learn about it. I will post somthing soon regarding it, until them simply google it and learn right away.

5. Rapid Read (15 mins)
This step is not always necessary but I always do it because I am not at the 100% comprehension level like a lot of people who pretty much memorize the book in the time it takes us to get all the concepts down.
-Simply pass your fingers along the pages reading every 3rd or so word. If you see something interesting dip in and read the entire paragraph.
-Continue Rapid Reading

Thats photo reading in a nutshell. It is an AMAZING process and will allow you to whip through LOTS of information quickly with better comprehension that most people get just reading it the SLOW way.

July 4th 2007...the day we fight back

Yes I watched Independence Day today...which is the normal tradition on July 4th.

Currently reworking my marketing for freedominmoney.com because while its NOT BAD right now its not all that great either.

The concept has changed as in I will be focusing more of my attention on GDI because it is SOO affordable for people which is very important for those that don't have much money are working 40 hours a week for min/wage.

Like I was.

Anyway the basic concept will be to recreate the site to teach the rule of five, and if you partake in the VERY simple process of the rule of 5 that you can be making $2500 a month every month after the 3rd month and never have to lift a finger again.

I've got some Bencivenga Bullets to get through first and then I will start recreating the system thats so easy to use people just have to plug and play and they are making lots of $$$.

Should take about a week so July 11th at the latest.

Until then keeping focusing on that higher conversion.
